Tax inspection
Tax inspection – an inspection conducted by the tax administrator in respect of the taxpayer in order to control the taxpayer’s compliance with the requirements prescribed by tax laws in the fields of calculation, declaration and payment of taxes and other fields prescribed by law as well. During tax inspection the tax authorities may enter the premises of the taxpayer, take the documents or things of the taxpayer and issue binding instructions to the taxpayer, if certain conditions are met. If the tax inspectorate finds out that tax laws were violated, he can calculate addition amount of taxes, late payment interest and penalties upon the taxpayer.
